Pissed Off

I'm fucking pissed. It's a stupid thing, I know, but still. We had this event at my school tonight called the Cookie Bake Off - each of 9 halls had to bake 2 types of cookies and were then judged on taste of each and overall presentation. My hall (FOR ONCE) put a shit load of effort into everything, and they were actually excited about it, and we got COMPLETELY shut out of all the categories. Some of the cookies were downright nasty, and the fucking hall that won everything (The hall that ALWAYS wins fucking EVERYTHING) showed up 45 minutes late and were still setting up way past the deadline. My hall told me that after this, they're not participating in anything again, and I can't blame them. You'd think that with 12 or so judges someone would notice that the results were biased to the team whose RD was the fucking HEAD of the judges. That was bullshit. I'm honestly considering either stepping down or just forfeiting the rest of the events for the year, because OBVIOUSLY everyone's "Favorite" hall is going to win. It's a waste of my fucking time. I realize that it's just a hall event, and that after college it's not going to matter at all, but if you spend DAYS planning something and HOURS putting it together, you want to see some sort of acknowledgement of your hardwork, and we got fucking bullshit. I'm done with it. As much as I care right now, because a lot of people's feelings got hurt tonight, I don't give a damn anymore. A certain fucking hall, with their suck-up president and their fucking cheating team can go straight to Hell.
